Oh the Title: I’ll write it tomorrow

Oh The title: I’ll write it tomorrow.

Suppose you are a 12th class student with a lot of work pending, assignment, homework, boards but you are sitting in front of a television watching Brooklyn 99 and stressing about work. Now you have the stress of finishing up your work and finishing b99. This is what procrastination is. You think about work you know you have a lotta work but you are not doing the work rather thinking bout the work. Procrastination causes stress, anxiety, and most importantly gives you insomnia. This is the reason we are here.

Brian tracy in his book eat that frog replicates the frog as the most important work you have. Mark Twain famously remarked that if the first thing you do in the morning is eat a live frog, you may go through the rest of the day knowing that that is probably the worst thing that will happen to you all day. Your "frog" is your most critical duty, the one you're most likely to procrastinate on if you don't take action.

Now we insomniacs are here to give you so that you also can “eat the frog” by a practical approach.

If You Have To Eat Two Frogs, Eat The Ugliest One First

This is another way of expressing that if you have two significant projects ahead of you, begin with the largest, most difficult, and most important work first. Discipline yourself to begin right away and to persevere until the work is completed before moving on to anything else.

If You Have To Eat A Live Frog At All, It Doesn’t Pay To Sit And Look At It For Very Long

The secret to achieving high levels of performance and productivity is to make it a lifelong habit to tackle your biggest work first thing in the morning. You must cultivate the habit of "eating your frog" before doing anything else and without devoting too much time to it.

This is a habit that many successful individuals have established, so much so that we consider it a fundamental leadership attribute for any individual who wants to achieve greater things in life.

We hope these two approaches will help our fellow insomniacs have a good night’s sleep.

Until next time

Sleep out.
